INTRODUCTION & PROGRAM:
This workshop is focused on image transfer onto metal with the aim of creating jewellery. It will enable you to develop your personal visual content and to explore and experiment with ideas through transferring digital colour photos and etching photos. We will focus on transferring onto metal, but also onto different materials as wood, Perspex, and paper, using heat, solvent, and glue techniques. Moreover, we will explore how to transfer etching onto different metals by using a not toxic approach and how to ink those with oil-based colours.
