All the jewels have memory’s and story’s that can be casted in shapes and the techniques that we use can give a different soul.
The course will be focus on sand, water and stone casting.
we will experiment the casting with synthetic-stone, casting with non-precious metals such as bronze, copper, aluminum and demonstration on the creation on precious alloys such as sterling silver, schibuici, shakudo and gold.
The scope of this course is to create unique and non-replicable shape for jewels.
Non-precious metals will be provided such as bronze, copper, aluminum and some synthetic stone, precious stone and precious metal are not included in the price.
Students can bring their own personal tools, in case is not possible the school can rent the box with basic tools.
Preview jewellery making experience is required.

Francesco was born in Aosta in 1992.
He is an Italian jewellery maker from Biella where he grew up in a family of watchmakers. After graduating in 2011 from an arts high school, he moved to Florence to attend Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School where he studied under Peter Bauhaus, Ruudt Peters and Lucy Sarneel.
He took a semester abroad to study at Royal Academy of fine art under Jorge Manilla in Antwerp. He has exhibited his work in Europe, Australia, and the United States.
He is currently living in Florence, where he teaches in Alchimia, and works as independent artist.
His work is an ongoing investigation into an unreachable place, a labor created by fantasy. Inspired by dreams and the materials themselves Coda creates unique pieces that let you travel deep into the recesses of his own imagination.
