After graduating from Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School, Selen partnered with  Burcu Büyükünal (She graduated from MFA in Metal at State University of New York at New Paltz) and opened a studio called Maden Contemporary Jewellery in Istanbul, Turkey in 2011. Together with her work as a teacher in Maden, she keeps on producing art work and participate in exhibitions.
