Labs and Facilities
The main jewellery Workshop is bright with abundant natural light and fully equipped — an ideal space where students can combine new technologies with traditional techniques. It is dedicated to Bachelor students, first-year Master’s students, and participants of the Intensive Courses.
The main Workshop is furnished with individual Italian goldsmith benches, butane torches, and drills. The shared workspace includes stations for welding, polishing and cleaning, casting, hammering, and forging, along with all the essential tools and machinery required for jewellery making.
Each student has their own personal goldsmith bench and torch for the entire duration of the program. Our facilities are designed to support every stage of the creative and technical process. Students have access to the following dedicated spaces:
- 5 fully equipped workshop areas with individual benches and torches
- 1 specialized stone setting and engraving workshop with GRS systems and microscopes
- Forging station
- Casting station
- Outdoor area for experimentation
- Theoretical classrooms
- Library
- Exhibition space with showcase
- Garden and terrace
The Library is a space designed to support and inspire. Packed with books, magazines, and research materials, it invites students to explore new techniques, dive into ideas, and nourish their artistic vision.
A terrace and garden overlooking the workshop provide a welcoming space for rest, reflection, and exchange. Surrounded by greenery, this area offers students and visitors a chance to pause, recharge, and engage in conversations —a place where ideas can flow freely, where moments of quiet contemplation meet opportunities for community and dialogue.
A specialized Lab for Microstone Setting and Engraving course is equipped with with 6 binocular microscopes, GRS equipment, spherical vises, a water wheel, drills and drill bits, but also brushes, burins, burnishers, alcohol lamps, cement, practice plates, and ring samples.
The second year of the Master’s program has its own dedicated studio, located just a five-minute walk from the school’s mainbuilding. This Master Studio is fully independent, offering second-year students complete autonomy in managing their work and research. Always accessable by the students, it provides the flexibility needed to pursue projects at each student’s own rhythm. The space is equipped with 8 fully outfitted workstations and a dedicated theory classroom, creating an environment that balances technical practice with critical reflection. An adjoining garden complements the studio, offering a quiet place for rest, inspiration, and informal exchange.
