One Year Course

This is an intensive one-year course that provides basic training and highly technical skills over a limited one-year period divided into 3 semesters similar to the first year of our BFA program.

Through this course, students learn about the different aspects of jewellery design and its diverse fields of application.
Moreover, our students achieve sufficient grounding for deciding on a field of specialisation, in order to continue their studies or begin working. Our Jewellery Training Foundation has been designed starting from teaching traditional techniques and skills of jewellery making and then using them as the basis to introduce new technologies, creative use of resources, originality, and material expression as well.

Our students will develop confidence, competence, creativity, and imagination through a very practical pedagogical approach and the availability of teachers to provide individual coaching.

This is a one-year program in jewellery that offers a balanced combination of theoretical principles of jewellery design and skill practice, aimed at students transferring from other universities, and for those with previous experience in conceptual jewellery or those who want to enter the Alchimia Master’s programme or otherwise achieve a high professional level.

This course is divided into 3 semesters similar to the second year of our BFA program and has a sharp focus on the development of technical skills, research of materials, new technologies and conceptual thinking, as well as nurturing the students’ own creativity and imagination to foster the independent and the artistic potential of each individual.

The achievement of the ambitious objectives of the course is guaranteed by individual and group coaching methodologies, a staff of highly qualified instructors, and participation in major national and international exhibitions in the field of contemporary jewellery design.
