The recollection of pieces presented opens up a landscape of fragmented narratives that are subtly intertwined.
The horizon, in this case, is not meant as the line that separates the earth from the sky.
But it is a unifying and chronological agent of construction. The time spent working together
with the materials to shape the final form of an object encrusted by our terrestrial experiences.
Invested by multiple layers of significance, those pieces function as vehicles of
communication. As costumed Lares divinities, they shift from magical amulets of protection,
bearer of cultural and historical inheritance; to philosophical devices of transformation, able
to alienate and objectify the wearer, enhancing our alienated condition. Because of this
shape-shifting character, which is also triggered by the interaction with the wearer, those
objects grow through time, acquiring new meanings to each encounter…
