Finding solace became a journey especially in this difficult time of a lockdown. Stacking food and supplies became an obsession, a physical assurance to get through this tough time.
With a lot of used cans around, I began to understand that I have been searching for an outlet to find myself at peace. I started by painting the clouds that I see from my window every day, but I felt trapped in that situation, hence, I turned to stitching that was taught to me by my grandmother. Picking this craft up again became a therapeutic process to this isolation. It allowed me to find security within this confinement, and remain sane under the stress of loneliness.
